| The pChat ( private chat ) allows private discussion between the project owner
and bidders. This is a very useful tool and enables both parties to better understand
each others requirements during the bidding process and after the project has
closed.
The pChat message board has the following facilities:
- Only the project owner can open a pChat session with a bidder.
- Once the pChat session is open the bidder can communicate freely with the
project owner.
- Each party is notified by email when a new message has been received.
- Only the winning bidder pChat session will continue after project has closed.
- After project close the winning bidder and project owner can communicate
via pChat as long as required.
Using pChat after project close to discuss progress gives a valuable and impartial
communication archive as all the pChat messages are stored for future reference
if required.
