The pChat message board has the following facilities:

• Only the project owner can open a pChat session with a bidder.
• Once the pChat session is open the bidder can communicate freely with the project owner.
• Each party is notified by email when a new message has been received.
• Only the winning bidder pChat session will continue after project has closed.
• After project close the winning bidder and project owner can communicate via pChat as long as required.
  

Using pChat after project close to discuss progress gives a valuable and impartial communication archive as all the pChat messages are stored for future reference if required.
